"Golden Eagle" or the most expensive trip by rail.

The Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express is the first Russian private tourist train of the luxury class. The presentation of the train took place on April 26, 2007, and already on May 6, the train set off on the route Moscow – Vladivostok. The longest railway route in the world is considered to be the connection between Moscow and Vladivostok. Therefore, it is not surprising that foreign companies are interested in it. The British company Golden Eagle Luxury Trains, together with JSC "Russian Railways", its subsidiaries and GC "Trans-Siberian Express" have teamed up to launch the first private train. It differs from similar routes on Russian railways only in that it offers a completely new level of service and comfort that meets high international standards. A special route is being developed for travel, and the train runs several times a year. The trip takes an average of 2-3 weeks with stops in interesting places along the way. Each time it's a new parking lot. Most of the passengers are foreign tourists. And since last year, the train has begun to expand its geography, going through Europe, Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The cost of the trip starts from $ 16,995 (more than 1,200,000 rubles, depending on the course). Of course, this is the cheapest ticket, and the final cost depends on the class of service. The most expensive ones reach almost 5 million rubles. There are three of them here: «Silver», «gold» and Imperial Suite. The train consists of 12 sleeping cars.

The cabins of the Silver class are more compact in area of 5.5 sq. m., equipped with a small double lower bed and a single upper bed, as well as a DVD/CD player, an LCD screen, a safe, individual air conditioning, a wardrobe and a large panoramic window. There is a separate bathroom with a washbasin, toilet and shower. Towels and bed linen are changed every second day or daily on request. Free tea, coffee and mineral water are provided at any time of the day. Laundry services are available at an additional cost.

The cabins of the "Golden" class (7 sq.m.) have very good proportions and have everything: from a private bathroom with a separate shower cabin with strong water pressure and underfloor heating to a DVD/CD player, LCD screen, safe, individual air conditioning, wardrobe, large panoramic window, and also have a double lower bed and a single upper bed. Guests of the hotel on wheels can order free drinks from the standard bar card at the Car Lounge Bar.

Imperial Suites are the most spacious cabins available on the train with an area of 11.1 square meters and have a large and luxurious double bed, as well as a living room with a dressing table. The Imperial Suite has a private bathroom with a power shower and luxurious underfloor heating; individual air conditioning; wardrobe; DVD/CD player with LCD screen; free fully equipped mini-bar; safe; small library and two large panoramic windows for observing the world around. Exemplary service begins with a free bottle of Dom Perignon champagne when you board the train to toast the start of your wonderful adventure. Tea, coffee and mineral water are provided free of charge at any time of the day, meals in the cabin are available on request. Drinks from the Lounge Car bar are included in the standard and premium bar menu (with the exception of the premium wine list). Private car and guide options in selected cities for an off-train excursion program. Laundry services are included in the price.

Lounge Car is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ever-changing scenery outside the window. Throughout your journey, various entertaining and enriching activities will be held in the bar and restaurant (2 dining cars and 1 with a bar), such as Russian language lessons and fascinating lectures on local history and culture from experienced guest speakers. It is here that the program of events for the upcoming trip is organized, daily routes will be provided with a detailed schedule of arrival and departure of trains, as well as information about excursions and activities for the next day, as well as useful weather forecast and time zone information. The bar is open until the last visitor leaves. Also included in the price of the trip are the following amenities: library, piano, baggage car, medical center, beauty salon with hairdresser, massage room and gym.
